TDR Nova by Takyodawn Record is parametric as well as dynamic free equilizer. It is 4 band equilizer with range of 20 Hz to 40 KHz. For each band you can choose any type of ' Q ' and gain for static parametric equalizaer and you can choose threshold , Ratio, attack, and release to set dynamic EQ of specific frequencies. You can have low shelf, High shelf and bell shelf type of Q. You can enable and disable any Q by selecting/deselecting ' on ' button given at the bottom of the plugin under band number.
Plugin Look and Knob uses and overview of Plugin :
- When you look at plugin interface you , you will find redo , preset drop down menu , A & B comparision of equilization and wave analyzing option.
- At the bottom of the plugin you will find four band option from where you can turn on or off any band Q.
- At the bottom of it you will find Q modes like shelf (High and Low ) with Q frequency , precision and gain knob to get more precision.
- After this ,if you want Dynamic equilization you can turn on Thresold knob which will turn on all the dynamic equilization parameters for specific band like ratio , release and attack.
- After this you can also use dry mix knob to mix your dry and process sound out of Nova.
- At last you will find a out gain knob which control your output Gain out of Plugin
My review on this plugin :
This is my best dynamic free EQ plugin to use. It is the only dynamic equilizer which is free in market. If you are looking for best plugin to work on specific frequency and didnt want to invest much money on dynamic equilizer you should use this plugin.
